Fourth Avenue Business District
Right across the historical civil rights institutions there is a historic Fourth Avenue Business District where a number of Black owned businesses are located. Nelson Brothers Cafe is well known for its Soul Food. The owner uses the same menu of his family since 1940.
A monument to remember the children killed during the Civil Rights Movement. On September 15. 1963, the Ku Klux Clan murdered four girls when they bombed the 16th Avenue Baptist Church.
